Our organization's mission is to train women in Africa to bring added value to the mining and agricultural resources available to them, to transform these resources, sell them and thus overcome poverty.

 

It aims at empowering women and facilitating their overall development, i.e. their economic, and personal development.

 

SIFODI is committed to:

 

Create training centers in collaboration with local structures for lapidaries and jewelers. The first training in this area will be held in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, from 10 June to 16 August 2019.

 

​Create fruit and vegetable conservation laboratories in collaboration with local NGOs. The first training will be organized in Lomé, Togo, in November 2019.

 

Once the training is completed, the association will accompany the beneficiaries in getting micro-credits to install their workshop or laboratory and to train other women and sell their products.

 

​The ultimate goal of SIFODI is to bring about a direct multiplier effect of the project thanks to the increased number of women trained who will become instructors in their countries of origin.
