TRAINING PROGRAM LAPIDARY AND JEWELRY CLASSES
Africa is extremely rich in mineral resources, including noble metals and precious and colored stones. Formal education unfortunately does not take into account these resources. Our program aims at helping women in Africa to fight poverty through training. It is an innovative program that enable women, through practical training, to be independent and to escape poverty.
Our program starts in Tanzania where we will train six women in an existing workshop in Dar es Salam for 10 weeks. Through donations or micro-credits, trained people will receive tools to help them carry out income-generating activities (training, selling faceted stones and jewelry).
